ICANN approved yesterday .中国 for China, .香港 for Hong Kong and .台灣 for Taiwan as a province of China.
New gTLD Aficionado. "New gTLD" stands for "new generic Top-Level Domains" from the ICANN new gTLD program. They are new domain name extensions such as ".blog" (instead of ".com").
