New gTLDs will help endangered languages

Hi recommend checking the UNESCO interactive atlas of the world’s languages in danger and I am happy to see that new generic Top-Level Domains will help save some of these languages.

• .CAT already exist ;
• .BZH will probably have the "Breton" language to survive ;
• "Basque" is vulnerable but there is a .EUS initiative ; 
• .CORSICA will certainly help the "Corsican" language to develop ;
• .CHAMPAGNE would definitely help the "Champenois" but note I am not sure it is the language it would help first ;-)
• .BOURGOGNE will possibly help Burgundian.
• .CYM, .GAL and .SCOT also exist in other countries.

The ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 codes is a list of three letters country codes which applicant guidebook prohibits the use for new Top-Level Domains projects.

4 known Top Level Domains projects are listed on ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 :

1. .VEN for the Venetian community : http://veneto.org ;
2. .AND for Andalusia : http://puntoand.blogspot.com ;
3. .FRA for France : http://a-fra.org ;
4. .CYM for the Welsh cultural and linguistic community : http://www.dotcym.org.

.CYM is listed in ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 list and is reserved for the Cayman Islands.

For his reason dotCYM, applying at ICANN to represent the Welsh cultural and linguistic community, would like to hear users' opinion for a new choice of string : .cymru, .cwl (Cymru Wales) or .wales ?
