A interesting change could happen soon with .AU domain names. The .AU registry invites the public to comment its policies. In a document entitled "REVIEW OF .AU POLICY FRAMEWORK", issues are raised and one attracted my attention because this is where a registry gets an opportunity to earn a lot of money "1H: Direct registrations under .au". I am a new gTLD Consultant based in Paris. "New gTLD" stands for "new generic Top-Level Domains" from the ICANN new gTLD program. They are new domain name extensions such as ".consulting" (instead of ".com").
