Heard at the SXSW 2012 conference, the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) would apply for its own Top-Level Domain.

www.donate.aarp domain names like coming ? I doubt it.

ICANN new gTLD batching process

The new generic Top-Level Domain batching process is the method the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will use for applicants to compete if more than 500 applications are received.
