Registration volumes tell a lot (new G's)

The .NIKON new gTLD seems to be doing tests again. When you compare with the .CANON domain name extension, it shows that chances are higher that there is a project of using .NIKON domains rather than with CANON. The .LONDON TLD has lost more than 1,000 registrations recently, same for the .AMSTERDAM extension.
