I just registered my first ".gdn" domain name. For the moment, I will use it as a redirection to point to my contact page for Jovenet Consulting. I want to try this domain name extension because "Jovenet" is Trademarked by myself and I believe that a short 3 letters domain name extension offers two options:
- The possibility to use a domain name extension which could come in competition with ".com" domain names since ".gdn" stands for "Global Domain Name" and it is as short as ".com" and...cheaper.
- Lower the risk of infringement: I don't want someone to register my trademark using a generic Top-Level Domain: ".gdn" clearly is the equivalent to ".com" and there are many - BUT MANY - domain names still available to register.
